When I was a kid, my family drove from Florida to Los Angeles. We decided to take a side trip to see the Grand Canyon. None of us had ever been there before, there was no GPS and all we had were trip-tick maps from the Auto Club. So we drove to where we saw a big cut in the Earth. We stopped, threw a rock, got in the car and talked about how we saw the Grand Canyon. We drove a few more miles and the cut in the Earth got bigger. We got out threw another rock, got back in the car and talked again about how we saw the Grand Canyon. This happened a bout 5 times and finally we drove into a forest and talked about how we thought we saw the Grand Canyon and then we really thought we saw the Grand Canyon. We drove for several more miles and then we came out of the forest and we really saw the Grand Canyon. And, when you see the real Grand Canyon, you don't throw a rock. It doesn't go anywhere. It is far more immense then any of our perceptions and assumptions thought it was. So what is the point of this story? The point is that, when you read or see a the videos about Mindmavericks.org and its training and think that what you are doing in any kind of spiritual, psychological or metaphysical practice is the same thing, you are doing both an injustice to what I have worked so hard to discover and to yourself, for not actually experiencing something that could be completely new. Yes, I am sure that what you are doing is yielding beneficial results or you wouldn't be doing it. But I am not comparing what you do to what I do because I haven't had a direct experience to what you are offering. So please don't make Grand Canyon assumptions about what I am doing, without actually experiencing it. It's like wine: There are all different kinds of wine, in taste and in quality. If you have only tasted one wine or even a dozen, it does not mean that there isn't some other new kind of wine that is a whole different experience, even though you can call it all wine. Don't think that just because you see a giant cut in the Earth, that you have experienced the Grand Canyon, even though all the other cuts in the Earth are connected to each other and have their value. The Mindmavericks.org training and workshops are the result of 35 years of experience, experimentation with thousands of individuals in different circumstances, my studies and practice from a Masters degree in Planning and Architecture, a PhD in both Philosophy and Psychology, being an award winning Design Professor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and to be fortunate enough to find a way to access our higher minds through using modified improvisational theater games. As a mater of fact, If you take a Mindmavericks.org workshop and it doesn't blow your mind, I will give you your money back.
